The underlying beat for this song is 2nd line ( a New Orleans rythm ) However it is only a vague template for the wonderful feel that Paul laid on it. James was recorded in one piece but I separated the bass/drum beginning from the trio part because of airplay concerns. I wrote this song in honor of my son around 2001.
